SPEC 5766 - VICS BOL Enhancements for IWMS

Description: Provides the ability to:

  • Control the items that print on the VICS BOL

  • Show the VICS BOL in a specific UM

  • Print the VICS BOL by warehouse area

Reason: Provide efficiency and options in the shipping process.

Associated Files

System Table (SET 29) - BOLOMIT

This table, accessed via menu option SET 29, allows you omit records from the VICS BOL. The following Application Codes can be entered:

  • M - Manufacturer
  • CC - Cost Center
  • PL - Product Line
  • PC - Policy Code
  • IC - Item Class
  • S - Supplier

Items entered into the BOLOMIT table are not included on the VICS BOL.

Warehouse Settings File (WM2 1)

The setting UM Override for VICS BOL allows you to specify the UM to print on the BOL.

The item has to be set-up with the specified UM. If not the native UM is used.

The item needs to have a valid conversion to the entered UM in order to be calculated/shown on the BOL.

Warehouse Shipping Reports (WAR 8)

The new setting Enter IWMS Warehouse Area allows you to limit what is included on the BOL.

Path: WAR 8>Type of Shipment = C or T> Type of Report = 4

IWMS has to be activated for the setting to display.

The BOL only prints items found in the entered Warehouse Areas.
